Liposomal is great and that's a large amount for daily intake. Lipo bypasses bowel tolerance. The only advantage to AA and SA is that bowel tolerance indicates how much you need in a day (or at any moment), and your BT will shoot up before you start feeling symptoms. At 10g a day of lipo, you're not likely to ever feel any symptoms and if you do, you can just double what you take for a while.

In one interview, Dr. Levy was talking about Vitamin C and speaking of how powerful IV Vitamin C can be. But if not able to get IV, he suggested 1 gr. Liposomal is pretty darn effective. I take 1 - 2 gr/ most days.

I like this article, Hickey is very well respected, and it discusses the various forms. https://orthomolecular.org/resources/omns/v10n13.shtml

I'm not allergic to stings, but since I've been taking about 10 grams of liposomal C spread throughout the day, I've noticed that wasp stings have almost no effect. Hurts for a few seconds at most, then nothing, not even any swelling.

Supplementing your pets with vitamin C will always help issues. Vaccines, bad food, and a toxic environment in cities can overwhelm their internal production or internal transporation of vitamin C. Older animals can use more. You could put sodium ascorbate in some soup for this dog. A couple grams a day, up to 9 grams a day, would help. Dogs also have bowel tolerance issues, so be aware of that.

I’m hoping you can help me. I have a 13 yr. old rescue mini-weenie, male. He’s very frisky, acts young. But before finding new family, needs teeth cleaning and tumor-like growth removed. But liver enzymes are too high to anesthetize. Per vet. I’m working on supporting the liver, plan to use DMSO on tumor, non cancer but what about the teeth, infection? Would Vit C be helpful? How much? Little fellow weighs 9 lbs. just until surgery is possible.

I have had the same experience. I live in South Africa. A bee sting sent me to the ER after blacking out. I bought an epipen which I’ve thankfully never had to use. By the time I was stung again, I’d heard about Vitamin C, and had some on hand. 5g in water was all that was needed, for no reaction. I’ve used it many times now, including for a yellow jacket sting. I LOVE Vitamin C.

This is a great testimony to the repeatability of what Cathcart and many other vitamin C scientists have tried to teach us about the power of high levels of ascorbate in our bodies. Thank you!
